A cool template to start a new Dungeon Crawler project in your favorite Boomer Shoter game engine: EFPSE (Easy FPS Editor). 

The capabilites of this template can be tested in the last game I made with it: 

Features

• A completely mapped Tile Movement typical from old school dungeon crawlers:
  • Fixed Tile Movement
  • Collision detection (even with enemies)
    
  • Easily Modify the move speed
  • Fully commented code

• An already made demo map with some elements to try out the features
  • Hazards, obstacles, doors and leaps
  • A couple of interactables to give you some ideas

• Ready to use assets already implemented in the project:
  • Floor and Wall Textures
  • Interactable decorations that serve as examples for new ones
  • Everything that can be done in the demo level has it's own sound
  • Tiles and sounds are public domain
  • Objects and doors are free for personal use

Requirements

• Decorations must have an specific radius to be reached from other tile to be interacted with.
  
• USE action MUST not be binded to E key. (F by default)
• Flashlight binded to G
• This assets currently works with Alpha 43 & Alpha 44 versions of the engine, you can download any of them here.

Limitations

There are a few known limitations that I'll try to cover in the future as the engine keeps evolving and adding new scripting commands. I am awared of the following:

• Enemies move freely while you're still fixed to move between tiles. This will be the first thing I fix once it is possible.
• The movement gets weirdly interrupted if you enter visual novel mode while moving (by interacting with stuff). It does not break anything, but is quite annoying.
• Movement not tested with crouching (disabled by script)
• The player shifts so fast when using stairs (that's why I used ramps in the example game).
